Typical Accumark Project Schedule
Each Accumark team member attends weekly meetings aimed at reviewing progress
on current projects, upcoming projects as well as required completion dates.
Close coordination between client representatives, Project Managers and
field technicians ensures timely completion of each step towards overall
completion of a project.
Upon receipt of a
request for services, Accumark is adequately staffed and able to immediately begin preparing the
work plan/scope and man-hour estimates. Because of the nature of our projects,
simultaneous tasks orders are easily organized and accomplished. We receive
work-orders either by mail, phone, fax, e-mail or our
request
for proposal form.
Subsurface utility projects involve four basic steps:
- Meet with client to discuss project requirements
- Records Research & Documentation
- Permitting Requirements, Traffic Control & Operational Planning
- On-site designating or locating
- Inventory and report generation
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance Project Review
Our
in-house staff of researchers routinely work on several projects at
the same time, allowing us to easily accommodate simultaneous tasks. This
portion of the project typically takes two or three days depending on the
age, condition and location of existing records. While this is being done,
a Project Manager will begin the Traffic Control and Operation planning
to determine the condition of the testhole site (soil, concrete, gravel),
the need for any right-of-way or jurisdictional permits and the accessibility
of the site.
Once these first two steps are complete, we notify the client and schedule
the on-site fieldwork. Upon completion of the field work, including utility locations exhibit
and CADD services, a thorough QC/QA project review is performed. A complete
inventory of all test holes performed is completed by the end of the next
business day. Formal
Test Hole Reports are generated and delivered within seven business days.
