Subsurface Utility Designation

During initial design and civil engineering phases, we provide the horizontal
locations of existing buried utilities and structures.

Our services for this task include:

Identification of and contact with possible utility owners
within the project limits
Detailed investigation of any available records, plans and maps
Electronic search of the site for buried facilities to verify that
all have been located
Marking all locatable utilities utilizing established utility designating
color codes and ASCE Standards of Practice
Utility locations exhibit and field notes of location, direction and configuration of utilities to be used by crews and CAD drafters
